Continuity mistake: The X that Mulder is seen painting has a distinct wavy line. When we see the X later on in the storm it's completely different. The wavy line is more straight.

Character mistake: The officer is called to the victim in the woods and is shown the 2 burn marks on her back. He then proceeds to touch the skin on the burn marks, thus compromising evidence as he isn't wearing gloves. (00:01:40)
