Continuity mistake: When Brian and Roman are speeding down the highway to get to the boatyard, the camera cuts to inside police headquarters (I think). On the computer screen are two GPS signals (Brian and Roman), and it says 6th and 7th Street, but when it cuts to a wider angle it says 4th, 5th and 6th Street, indicating the screen has moved up instead of down. Continuity mistake: When Brian and Roman are driving into Tej's driveway at his garage after getting back from Verone's, if you look at the yellow 4x4 pickup, its front wheel is turned to the right, but in the following closeup shot it is now straight. (00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: At the club, Monica and Brian are sitting at a table and when Rome walks up and says "He's here man," Monica looks at him and puts her right hand/arm up to her hair/cheek, in the following shot however her hand/arm is down, then in the shot after it's back up again. (00:54:15)

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Roman are at the car impound, Brian is searching inside the Ferrari, and Roman says "Look in the center." Roman is holding onto the side of the car and looking away from Brian, yet in the following shot he is now holding onto the top of the car and is looking directly at Brian. (00:32:50)

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Roman are racing to the car impound to get the package for Carter, at the start of the freeway scene Brian says "Lets see what this thing can do." When he steps on the gas the camera cuts to an outside view and there is a large HGV in front and a 4x4 pickup to the right, but in the following overhead shot the 4x4 pickup has vanished and is replaced with a Mini Van. Continuity mistake: At the end of the first race, Brian speeds over the finish line then stops in front of Tej, and when the camera cuts to a wider shot of Tej the crowd is a few feet away from Tej in all directions, but in the following closeup Tej is now surrounded with people. (00:12:35)

Continuity mistake: When Cole is at his wife's funeral, his new girlfriend/wife is standing by his side with her hand on Cole's son's right shoulder, but in the following shot both hands are on the son's shoulders. (00:28:35)

Continuity mistake: When Jim and Jack are in the morgue, and Jack says, "Is there anything else you like to comment on?" the doctor is standing next to Jim writing something down on a pad or piece of paper (you can see the pencil), but in the following shot he is not writing on anything and his hands are behind his back. Continuity mistake: When Campbell and Cole are inside the Chinese herbal-like shop, the woman behind the counter offers Campbell a drink. When he goes to drink it he holds the cup with two hands but in the following shot he's holding it with only his right hand. (00:14:05)

Continuity mistake: When Satch is talking with Frank after discovering his wallet underneath a dead girl, he lifts up Frank's driving licence. Four of Satch's fingers are on the front side of the licence, but when the shot changes, Satch holds the licence with three fingers on the front and a finger and thumb at the back. (01:24:00)

Continuity mistake: When Frank has survived the Buxton fire and is trying to reach his son in the future over the radio, his son from that time walks in and sits on Frank's knee. He takes a chewing gum out of the silver wrapper in his right hand, but in the following shot it is now in his left. (00:42:25)

Continuity mistake: When the black criminal dies from an injury caused by the huge explosion at the mid river passage, Kit is leaning against the front bumper of a burnt out car, but a few shots later when the camera cuts to a wider angle, the car has vanished and all we see is the old man, Kit and the criminal on the floor with no car, but in the following shot the car reappears again. This has nothing to do with camera angles. (00:51:20 - 00:52:05)

Continuity mistake: When Boyd and George pull up outside of TK's club "The Static", in a shot from outside of the passenger window Boyd is holding onto the steering wheel with his left hand, but when it cuts to a shot from outside the drivers window Boyd's right hand is on the steering wheel. Continuity mistake: When Boyd goes to the city records hall, only to come across a family tied up on the floor, look at the cleaning trolley in the background, the blue brush changes direction between the first and second shot. (00:32:40)

Continuity mistake: When Kit gets all the survivors onto the top of the cars, out of the water to keep them "high and dry", Ashley's parents are standing on top of a car next to each other. In one particular shot there's a large distance between them, but in the previous shot they're next to each other. (00:55:50)

Continuity mistake: When Kit rushes to a table and scrambles everything off it to pick up a large object to stop the fan, the timer in the background says 28 seconds. But when Kit walks up to the big fan to slow it down we see the timer again and it says 19 seconds, but only two or three seconds have passed since we last saw the timer so it should be at about 24 or 25. Continuity mistake: When Roy Nord is about to go into the mid river passage, a girl is taping him on her digital camcorder. In the first shot her hand is gripping the camcorder's screen and bottom with one finger next to the LCD display, but in the following shot all of her fingers are at the bottom of the camcorder. Continuity mistake: When T.J. is talking with the homeless black guy who is sitting on the floor telling the student how to keep warm, the guy throws the student a book to rip up and make himself warm. When he throws the book, the student is grasping the book at the bottom with his left hand, but in the following shot his left hand is at the top of the book. (01:16:30)

Continuity mistake: When the tidal wave is hitting Manhattan, and the camera cuts to Laura walking behind the black woman and the cop, the woman panics and turns to her left to look at Laura, but in the following closeup she turned to her right to look and talk to Laura. (00:47:50)
