Continuity mistake: At the moment Chief Engineer Hanley turns off the projector, the lamps in the background come on at precisely the same moment. Mr. Whipple is standing in the middle of the room. No one else was in the room to turn the lights on.

Continuity mistake: When the Ground Crewman runs after Lt. Decker, he reaches him just as Decker is climbing onto the plane. You see the Ground Crewman put his hand (or just about to) on Decker's upper left arm. When they cut to a closer shot, the Ground Crewman's hand is in the process of moving up to Decker's arm.

Continuity mistake: When Decker first gets out of his plane, Maj Wilson begins to question him. Decker's hair is neatly combed. When Wilson asks him "Are you French?" the shot changes to a closeup of Decker only. His hair is now disheveled in the front and hanging down on his forehead. The next shot returns to the wider angle and Decker's hair is more neatly combed again, as it originally was, not hanging on his forehead.

Continuity mistake: The jeep driver is standing behind Lt. Decker's aircraft during the initial conversation between Decker and Maj Wilson. His hands are behind the fuselage in the initial shot. When the shot changes to a close up of Decker, the driver's hands are now on top of the fuselage.

Continuity mistake: When Decker first exits the aircraft, there is a jeep immediately behind it, a service truck behind the jeep, and a USAF F-100 Super Sabre jet in the background. However, when Maj Wilson escorts him away from the plane, the service truck is gone and the F-100 has been replaced with a large transport aircraft.

Continuity mistake: When Cadwallader puts a seal on the Escape Clause paper, he presses so hard that he manages to lift the whole document with seal. You can see that there is absolutely nothing except for a seal mark on the paper, yet when he drops the paper to the floor some typed text appears on it. Also in the same scene, the seal pattern is square in the first shot, but when the paper drops to the floor the seal mark is round.

Continuity mistake: When Sport and Jab jump into the pool for last time, Sport is seen wearing a shirt. But,when she comes out at Aunt T's house she is wearing a swimsuit.

Continuity mistake: In the early scene when Bevis tumbles down the stairs of his apartment, a little boy watches and then holds his hands over his eyes. In the next shot, the boy is shown walking outside, but then the camera cuts and he is shown back inside, his hands still over his eyes.

Continuity mistake: When Ferris is in the phone booth, he tries to get the operator but then hangs up the phone. He then scans the Town Square. The camera pans counter-clockwise and the receiver is nowhere in sight.
