Continuity mistake: When the Goblin tells Peter he's going to kill MJ "nice and slow," Spider-Man's head is shown facing directly at him. But in the reverse angle, Spider-Man is looking downward and then raises his head again.

Continuity mistake: The Goblin throws Spider-Man against a wall. Spidey lands on all fours, looks up, and starts to rise before the Goblin steps on his wrist, preventing him from getting up. In the following shot, Spider-Man's head is beside the Goblin's knee, but in the next cut it's suddenly level with the Goblin's chest. The mismatch becomes more evident when the Goblin says, "You pissed me off." It's not until timecode 01:46:58, after the Goblin reveals his steel blade, that Spider-Man actually begins to rise. Continuity mistake: When the Goblin smashes through the window and attacks JJJ, his chair is first positioned at a slight diagonal to the desk. In the very next cut, however, it's suddenly perfectly aligned with the table.

Continuity mistake: When Mary Jane falls off the balcony she falls sideways except for a shot of her falling face down. Shot changes and she is falling sideways again.

Continuity mistake: When Flash is hit by the tray with food he raises his arms in disbelief. A shot later his arms are lowered and he repeats the previous movements.

Continuity mistake: When the movie begins and all the students enter the lab, Mary Jane's boyfriend nags her and she moves her arm to her shoulder, then lowers it. In the following shot her arm is raised and she is lowering it again.

Continuity mistake: When Osborn is getting ready to radiate himself at his laboratory, he throws his clothes on the floor. Their position differs between the first and second shot.

Continuity mistake: When Peter is testing the web on the crane, his fringe swaps between messy/ brushed /windy / still between frames in no order whatsoever.

Continuity mistake: When Osborn is drinking whiskey and hears his inner voice, is about to see the African masks and before watching himself in the mirror, his fringe swaps from messy to brushed.
