Dexter (2006)

Return to Sender - S1-E6

Factual error: When Dexter is reading the list of drugs found in the autopsy of the murder victim, one listed is "Cialopram." This is a misspelling of the antidepressant Citalopram; misspellings do not occur on drugs lists in toxicology reports, as they are computer-generated. (00:37:10)

Red 2 (2013)

Trivia: The Boeing 747 (G-BDXJ) seen in the background during the climactic scene at the airport is the same one used in Casino Royale to depict the prototype aeroplane at Miami. It is also seen in many episodes of the UK television series Top Gear.

Doctor Who (2005)

The Bells of Saint John - S7-E8

Factual error: Clara determines the location of the enemy's base of operations: floor 65 of The Shard. However, there are multiple issues with this conclusion. Firstly, floor 65 is a residential property, not an office location; offices in The Shard occupy floors 2 through 28. Secondly, the view of 30 St Mary Axe from Miss Kizlet's window puts the office below 180m, the height of the latter building. This would mean the office must be below floor 50. Finally, when the Doctor rides his motorcycle up the side of the building, 30 St Mary Axe is again seen, this time significantly below his location, and on the wrong side of The Shard. Not only then does the office's height change, but also which side of The Shard it is on. (00:36:06 - 00:38:40)

The Da Vinci Code (2006)

Audio problem: When Langdon removes the clue from the Cryptex box lid and takes it to a mirror, Teabing says "Backwards, in the style of Leonardo himself" without his mouth moving. Although much of the shot is shown over Teabing's shoulder, his mouth is visible at the beginning of the shot, and his jaw does not move throughout the rest of the sentence. (01:27:45)

Torchwood (2006)

Day One - S1-E2

Trivia: When Jack leaves the club, followed by the Torchwood team, and they head into an alley, there are human legs sticking out of a dustbin. These are extraneous to the plot, and never mentioned onscreen, despite Torchwood surveying the area. (00:13:05)

The Family of Blood (2) - S3-E9

Revealing mistake: The pyrotechnic mortars used in the destruction of the Family's ship are visible in the shots leading up to their detonation. As the Family run from their ship through the field, the mortars are visible against the branches behind them. Shortly afterwards, they detonate, creating the illusion that the invisible craft has exploded.

Torchwood (2006)

Children of Earth: Day Two - S3-E2

Revealing mistake: When Ianto drops the concrete cell into the quarry and it breaks apart, the green foam from which it is made becomes visible. It is evident that the outside of the block was painted to resemble bricks and concrete block. When this breaks apart on the ground, the inside becomes visible, showing the concrete and brick textures are only surface deep. (00:53:05)

Jurassic Park (1993)

Question: When Lex reboots the phones and Grant rings the bunker, how does Hammond immediately know it was Grant? Wouldn't it be more likely it was Ellie on the phone, or even Arnold?

eldeem

Chosen answer: He was hoping it was Grant. He didn't want it to be Arnold or Ellie, who went to reset the breakers. He wanted it to be Grant - the one who was taking care of his grandchildren. He wanted to know they were OK.
