Corrected entry: The amount of lining sticking out from under Beaver's cap changes from one shot to the next. (00:16:30)
Correction: After watching this episode over again and capturing the scene in suspect, it's exactly the same until Beaver looks down. That is where the extra lining is seen and it's only because of the angle that you can see it.
