Factual error: When Billy Mack hears he is No. 1, the DJ, (Radio 1's Wes, who does the chart in reality) says the two singles which could be No. 1, then announces Billy is and plays it, without playing the no. 2 song first. The chart is done as an uninterrupted countdown, so even if it's known what no. 1 will be, they'll still play the "losing" song before it.

Love Actually (2003)
Trivia: This is not a mistake as such, but in real life the DJ who introduces 'Jump' (where Hugh Grant dances through No. 10) is Jo Whiley, who has a Radio 1 show on weekdays from 10am till 1pm. At this point in the film, though, it is dark outside, so she is not broadcasting in her usual slot.

Factual error: Terry Sheridan is described as a former commander in the Royal Marines. This is a Royal Navy rank, the equivalent Marine rank would be Lt. Colonel.
