Dream House

Other mistake: In the scene near the start as Will Atenton is being driven to his house by the property agent there is a close up of the car which shows a snow covered bonnet therefore the car would not have been driven very far as the engine was not warm.

Chloe Patterson: Mom says you see them.
Will Atenton: Yeah.
Chloe Patterson: Could you tell them how much I miss them?
Will Atenton: Yeah.

Will Atenton: How did she die, Ann? Tell me how she died.
Ann Patterson: Libby loved you. She'd want you to let her go. You have to let her go now, Peter.

Will Atenton: Once upon a time, there were two little girls who lived in a house.

Question: If the two cops in the diner recognized Peter Ward as he (in his Will Atenton persona) was talking to them about the case, then why were they acting like he, in fact, wasn't Peter Ward but someone other than him? Or did I miss something?

Question: At the end, when Peter Ward was saying goodbye to his family for the last time, were they the ghosts of his family, or was he imagining the whole conversation as a result of never having gotten to say goodbye in real life?
