Factual error: This relates to the first movie with this title, the one with Jack Benny in it. About midway in the film there is a scene with Polish pilots in the RAF in a room. It cuts to a brief shot of airplanes flying which obviously purports to show the Polish pilots flying their airplanes. But, the airplanes shown are circa 1935 U. S. Army Air Corps Consolidated two place fighters, never used by the RAF and in fact totally obsolete and never used by any air force during WWII.
Continuity mistake: With very little petrol available, the Bronski's chauffeur uses a horse to tow the car. Once they are at the theatre, the chauffeur pulls on the reins and gets down to open the car door, so the Bronskis can get out. Between pulling to a stop and the Bronskis being out, the reins have vanished.
Capt. Schultz: But what if he doesn't talk?
Colonel Ehrhardt: Then we try a little physical culture.
Colonel Ehrhardt: They named a brandy after Napoleon, they made a herring out of Bismarck, and the Fuhrer is going to end up as a piece of cheese.
Maria Tura: Think of me being flogged in the darkness, scream, suddenly the lights go on and the audience discovers me on the floor in this gorgeous dress.
