Factual error: When people begin to describe their symptoms, Dr. Deyoung says the "virus" could be a number of things, but then lists bacterial diseases. Something a doctor in his field would not do, especially since the test tube that broke was already described by him as "experimental bacteria."Bishop73
Trivia: Marion Ross guest stars as a woman who watches a lot of TV, but believes the characters are real people. In one scene she references the following show by naming people/characters: Oprah, Donahue, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Cosby Show, Dynasty, M.A.S.H., Dallas, Leave it to Beaver. The last character she names is "The Fonz", from Happy Days, which Ross also starred in as Mrs. Cunningham.Bishop73
Harry Stone: Who do we have first, Mac?
Mac: People versus Shibata.
Harry Stone: To what do we owe the pleasure of Mr. Shibata's company?
Dan Fielding: Well, sir, it seems Mr. Shibata was caught rolling for dollars with, um, these three rarely upstanding women.
Harry Stone: All three? That's illegal. And quite impressive.
Dan Fielding: When he was apprehended he had a fifty gallon drum of soy sauce and they were in the middle of something called a "Sukiyaki Slam-bam."
Christine Sullivan: Uh, sir, uh, while neighbors in adjoining rooms did complain for over seven hours I believe that Mr. S...
Mac/Harry/Dan: Seven hours?!
[Mr. Shibata bows to Dan, Harry, and Mac and they bow back]
Dan Fielding: My god, man, how do you do it?
Mr. Shibata: Every day, I swim ten miles, eat one hundred oysters and sit in a barrel of pickle brine.
Dan Fielding: [to stenographer] You got that?
Ben Veloric: I guess I just wanted to find out of she loved me for myself.
Harry Stone: Now I guess you know, all she cares about is money.
Ben Veloric: Yeah. So, Debbie, are we back on?
Debbie Rollins: You mean you don't care that I'm shallow and materialistic?
Ben Veloric: Heck no, as long as you don't chunk up.
Question: I barely remember an episode where a personal video in question was to be viewed in the judge's chambers. Of course Dan wanted to be in on the viewing. Before Harry left the bench his court clerk or the defense made a comment (do not know which clerk or defense) regarding the viewing of the tape. Harry answered something to the effect that they were going to review the tape for the four (or five) points of interest of a woman's anatomy. She stands there while the men all follow Harry out of the court room. The person (clerk or defense) silently and slowly counted on her fingers and then looks up and says, "Oh my God." Does anyone know which episode this was?TimBo266
