Continuity mistake: During the dinner party, Philip crushes a glass in his hand, and we see that his hand is cut and bloody before he wraps a piece of cloth around it. Later on, when Mrs. Atwater reads his palms, not only is there no bandage, but there is also no blood or sign of a cut on his hand.
Trivia: At first, this film seems to have only one scene and two shots, one outside and another inside. Actually, it is divided in a series of 8 minute continuous shots. 8 minutes being the maximum duration of filming possible without reloading the camera. Every eight minutes, the camera zooms on a dark object and then cuts.
