Visible crew/equipment: Right at the start of the film as the alien spacecraft is landing on the planet, you can see the scaffolding of the studio at the top of the screen.

Continuity mistake: When Wolff and Chalmers find the gang of raiders attacking the sail-driven ship, at one point there is a shot from the front of the ship showing no-one at the controls, then cut to a close-up of the controls and the old man is shown holding onto them trying to stop the ship. Trivia: When Wolff wakes up Chalmers from her sleep you can see a copy of a play called "R.U.R" lying on her chest. R.U.R is a science fiction play and it contained the first use of the word "robot." This is a clue as to Chalmers' origin. (00:07:32)
