Continuity mistake: Whilst the family are on their way to the parents' house, Inoue takes out a sandwich in his mouth to show to a driver in the car beside him. After he takes the sandwich out of his mouth, the sandwich and the hand he is holding it in, rotate 90° in between shots. (00:17:13)
Continuity mistake: When Inoue starts kissing Yoshiko, there is a moment where she puts her left hand on the left side of his hair. When the camera changes angles, her left hand is now on his upper back. (01:03:18)
Visible crew/equipment: Whilst Inoue is talking with Yoshiko in secret, just after he says "No, the day after tomorrow I'll call you for sure", she lifts up her head slightly to make eye contact with him. When she does this, the film crew can be seen reflected in her glasses. (01:03:45)
