Character mistake: After defeating the final boss, your hero of choice jumps on the Quinjet to get back to Earth safely. The hero says "Thank you, Wonderman!" implying Simon Williams is the pilot, but in the ending cutscene Captain America is the aviator and only Iron Man, Hawkeye and Vision are inside the vehicle.
Character mistake: The arcade closing credits feature a "Key animater" and a "Graphic Co operater", plus other questionable examples of engRish, such as "Back Ground."
Character mistake: In the Arcade version, Klaw and the Living Laser ask your hero of choice with a bit of annoyance not to be 'disturbed', and the hero's reply is; "WHY SHOULD IT GOES WELL?"
Character mistake: When the Quinjet explodes approaching the secret moonbase, the explosions cause several "POOM" onomatopeia, deviating by one curved stroke from the accepted standard "BOOM."
Character mistake: The opening crawl of the Genesis version mentions that Red Skull is conquering the world "By assembling a team of super-VILLIANS."
Character mistake: In the arcade, Simon Williams' alter ego is mentioned during the stages as "Wonderman" (wrong) and in the ending as "Wonder Man" (correct), and Namor is "Submariner" (wrong) during the stage, and "Sub-Mariner" (correct) in the ending. The Genesis version is even more incoherent, since it gets "Wonder Man" right in level 2, but keeps the wrong spelling "Wonderman" in level 5.
Character mistake: After destroying the laser, the heroes face the villain called "Controller", whose name in the arcade version is misspelled as "Control."
Character mistake: In the arcade version, at the end of the underwater level the heroes have to face "Mech. Taco", which is not a big soggy tortilla, but, being a mistranslation from the japanese word "Tako", a giant robot octopus.
