Factual error: When giving birth in the game, giraffes will lie down, as do other in-game animals. Giraffes in the real world rarely lie down and even give birth standing up.
Other mistake: Animals that have the scratching post as an enrichment object will either scratch or rub against it. Regardless of how an animal uses it, the guest thought panel will always comment on the animal scratching it.
Factual error: The large temperate forest map is in France when it is selected in Challenge Mode or Freeform Mode in the map selection screen. However, bamboo is in the map before the player edits it, even though bamboo is native to China.
Other mistake: It is stated in the Zoopedia as a fun fact that snow leopards have never been known to roar. If they stalk prey in the game, however, they will roar with the action in their status screen, 'Roaring at X'.
