Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Question: If Edward is now part of the team, does Hansel know that he saved Gretel from Berringer and his goons?

Question: After Hansel saves the children, where do they go? Do they just run into the forest, trying to get back to Augsburg?

Question: The extended edition shows that the kidnapped children are forced to eat poison dart frogs for the ritual. After they were rescued, wouldn't they be dead from eating poisonous frogs?

Question: Is Edward supposed to be Hansel and Gretel's father? If so, was there some explanation as to how or why since the head evil witch told Hansel and Gretel he was hung? Was she lying?

Chosen answer: Edward is not Hansel and Gretel's father. He helps them because he is a troll. Trolls serve witches.

Question: How old were Hansel and Gretel as kids in the beginning of the movie? How much time passed to when they were adult? And how old were they then?

Quantom X

Chosen answer: Hansel & Gretel's ages are never mentioned in the original fairytale. But Cedric Eich who plays young Hansel is currently 13 (August 10th, 2000). The age of Alea Sophia Boudodimos who plays young Gretel is unknown, but I'd guess that she's a similar age.

Gretel: Let the girl go, or I'm gona blow your sheriff's brains all over these fucking hillbillies.

They trick one witch with a record recording of a boy that is lost. H&G are thrown down by it and the witch picks up a branch and begins zooming off like it is a broom. Hansel is behind her, yet despite the witch traveling faster than he is running, somehow he suddenly gets in front of her and smacks her with his gun.

The director, Tommy Wirkola, has an uncredited cameo of sorts (seen on screen longer than a usual cameo) as one of Sheriff Berringer's four deputies. Stuntman Wolfgang Lindner portrayed one of the deputies, and is uncredited as well.
