Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: He was a fictional character. However, Apatow says he was playing a version of himself, though he didn't initially realise that when being cast. He claims he is not that bad in real life; his character is also an amalgam of other producers.

Answer: Madame Leote's spirit was encased in the crystal. The singing busts were inanimate objects brought to life.

Answer: He still had control over them, that's why they've never been able to move on.

Answer: She was African American, most likely the daughter of slaves. He felt she would have brought shame and disgrace to the mansion and the family name.

Question: How old is Mayday supposed to be in this movie? It's supposed to take place 16 months (one year and four months) after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which makes no sense. Peter would've had to re-marry MJ in his universe just like that and nine months later, their daughter is born, so Mayday is three months old?

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: Who's saying they got married first? They reconciled, she got pregnant at some point, and they got married whenever. Do we even know if they are married? Mayday could be as old as 7 months. She's crawling and seems to have basic motor functions like pulling her hat down, so she's likely at the older end of that scale. While she's big-ish, she's not talking or anything, so she can't be that old. Plenty of younger babies still have a lot of hair, plus we can't be 100% sure how his universe works, in terms of child development or indeed be sure that time passes at exactly the same rate as Miles'.

Okay, you made a fair point on the whole marriage thing.

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: She is an infant; she appears to be around 3 or 4 months old.

Babylon (2022)

Question: Jack Conrad's final movie, where he and Irving Thalberg say that the movie is terrible or in Jack's words: "a giant swing of mediocrity", how do we know if they're right or wrong on that? Do we we find out whether or not it was a success or is it what Jack and Irv actually say it is? I also ask this because a friend goes up to Jack and says "Jack's back. Way to go, Jack."

Noah (2014)

Answer: As I remember it, and also checking Wikipedia's plot summary, Ham left at the end and there was no further explanation about what happened to him.

Chucky (2021)

Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.

Halloween Ends (2022)

Question: Why would the town turn on Laurie and accuse her of provoking Michael's attacks when she was a victim and spent almost the entire time in the hospital?

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: Michael's primary target is Laurie but, since he's also going around killing random people, most likely everybody believes that Michael is killing anybody who gets in his way to get to Laurie.

Answer: Because the town, Haddonfield, needed someone, anyone, to blame, and Laurie, being that she survived both the '78 killings and then the 2018 massacre, was likely the only viable choice.

Question: Blaire was responsible for filming and uploading the embarrassing video of Laura, which led to Laura's suicide. Aside from Blaire, how were Mitch, Adam, Jess, Ken, and Val involved with the humiliating video that made Laura kill them?

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: Blair's friends were responsible for some of the online bullying, but she said everyone is doing it, so they did. That's the only thing I can think of anyway.

Question: How did Patrick Mulligan get a piece of a symbiote? He was killed by Shriek, not by a piece of Carnage.

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: It is deliberately never shown on screen, so unless it gets answered in a sequel the audience is left to speculate. Mulligan does come into direct contact with Carnage since Cletus is the person who kidnapped him. In addition, the fight between Venom and Carnage takes place all over the church with the pair constantly stabbing, slashing, and bludgeoning each other. A piece of either symbiote could be somewhere in that building. Again, though this is just speculation since it's never shown how Mulligan is infected.

Question: How did Cletus of all people know of Eddie getting dumped by Anne and being abused by his father? Were those stories publicized?

Cody Fairless-Lee

Answer: If they conducted a one-on-one interview, Eddie might've risked sharing some personal things to get Cletus to open up more. Eddie also took her leaving pretty hard. He might be one of those people who, you spend five minutes talking to them and they're GOING to bring up their ex.

Captain Defenestrator

Answer: Those are things Cletus would have talked about during their interviews. Eddie ignored all that and concentrated on finding the other bodies, so Cletus feels like Eddie didn't tell his side of the story.
