Jim McCrea's fearful predication that he will die having met the reaper ends up occurring when Darren Perrier machine guns his windshield. Before Darren can do in Michael McCrea, vengeful dog handlers, enraged that Darren shot two of their own hounds, sick a pack of mutts on him where he's fatally mauled. Michael travels down the coast to visit his mum to break the news of her husband's passing.
