Visible crew/equipment: When Sid James is enjoying a coffee outside the hotel, Joan Sims says, "Don't bother to ask me if I'd like a chair". A microphone can be seen in the bottom left hand corner.

Carry on Abroad (1972)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake
Directed by: Gerald Thomas
Starring: Kenneth Williams, Sid James, Charles Hawtrey, Sidney James, Joan Sims
Genres: Comedy
Continuity mistake: At the start of the film, Joan Sims argues with Sid James over his trip with Barbara Windsor to Elsbels. When Joan finishes shouting at Sid, she has moved from one side to the bar to the other between shots.
Stuart Farquhar: Afternoon, Miss Dobbs, a lovely day for it.
Miss Dobbs: That's what they all say, Mr Farquhar, but it won't get you anywhere.
Stuart Farquhar: I meant for the Elsbels trip, Miss Dobbs.
Trivia: There was no music played during the filming of the party scene, so the cast members had to improvise their own dance steps as the scene continued. Although music was added to the final film later in production, you will notice that some of the actors are dancing too fast or doing the wrong steps to the music.
