Lord of Illusions

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Nix threatens young Dorthea with a real madrill, but that's all we see of it. It's never shown being put away, and it's not there when Swann and his crew break in to incapacitate Nix.

Revealing mistake: As the leader talks to those assembled, the ball of fire in his hand is very transparent, showing that it was matted into the shot.

Movie Nut

Continuity mistake: D'Amour visits one of Swann's friends, Jennifer Desidario, in a mental hospital. After their encounter, she run out to the street, and promptly gets struck by a passing car. If this hospital contains manic depressives like her, don't you think it would be wise to erect wall, or even a chain link fence around the complex?

Continuity mistake: When D'Amour and Swann's assistant are in the car and the assistant performs the trick with the flower, when he makes the flower disappear, you can clearly see it fall into his sleeve and just sit there at the top.

Revealing mistake: In the house at the beginning, when the young girl shoots the leader in the chest from behind, the camera looks at the front and you can see a square outline in the center where the blood pack was set for the shot.

Movie Nut

Butterfield: A lot of people believed in Nix. They haven't forgotten his promise.
Ray Miller: About...?
Butterfield: Death.
Ray Miller: What about death?
Butterfield: It's an illusion.
