Maj. Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra) escapes from containment zone along with only one man from her team and an immune survivor of the reaper virus. She hands over the cure and records (with her bionic eye) a conversation she has with the chief advisor, who was planning on using the cure for his own benefit after all the infected have died. She finds a picture of her estranged mother and gives the recording to an ex-cop who in-turn exposes the chief advisor. She returns to the containment zone with the head of Sol to claim the trust and allegiance of the barbaric faction.
