Kunlun tells the truth at General Guangming's trial that he was the one who saved Qingcheng and killed the king. Guangming and Wuhuan fight and Wuhuan kills Guangming. Kunlun kills Wuhuan. Before Guangming dies, Qingcheng lays beside him and weeps. This shows that Qingcheng truly loves Guangming and wishes that she never made the deal with the goddess Manshen. At the beginning of the movie, when Qingcheng was younger, she made a deal with Manshen: to live a life with all the luxuries she wanted but any man that she loves will die. Kunlun uses the magic cape (which gives you immortality as long as you keep wearing it and the power to travel at super human speed) to go back in time to when Qingcheng made the deal with the goddess Manshen...
