I watched this movie on Netflix.

As a follow up to Ocean's Twelve, this is the one that I think is more deserving of 12's reputation. I never understood the hate that Ocean's Twelve gets and think it's underrated.
Before this watch of Thirteen when I binged all 3 movies... I thought I had seen this one before. When watching it, I didn't remember any bits of it. So I think here in 2025, was actually my first time ever watching Ocean's Thirteen. That or I did see it back in the day and it was dull enough I forgot all about it.

That's how I feel about this one. It's not bad, but it's dull. Here I feel the writing suffers, the actors are tired of these roles and barely trying. And aside from Al Pacino hamming it up, most of the actors seem to be phoning it in more this time around. The gags with the hotel reviewer guy are pretty funny though.
This one I feel is far more predictable and simple than the first two movies. Like they all just did this movie to cash a paycheck. It feels to me like thirteen is what should have the reputation twelve gets.

anyways, not a bad movie. But meh.

And at least now thanks to Ocean's 8, it's at least not the worst in the series though. Man was Ocean's 8 just booooooooring.

Trivia: Throughout the movie, quotes from The Godfather are said by the actors. For example, Reuben says, "I hear cars pulling in. I hear whispering conversations. Linus crying. Why don't you tell me what everyone else seems to know?" This is almost exactly what Don Corleone is asking Tom Hagan in the Godfather in the scene where he finds out Sonny has been killed. Another quote from the Godfather is when Danny is trying to pull a on Banks, he says, "What I want, [pause] what's most important to me. . ." In the Godfather, Michael says this about his father's safety at the meeting where he kills McCluskey and The Turk.

Question: Can anyone give some insight as to what was used to contaminate the hotel reviewer's room?

Answer: I don't think there's any way of providing an exact answer to this question, but I think it's safe to say that whatever materials they used were highly bacterial but not lethal (otherwise the 5 Diamond Award critic would be dead or in serious condition).
