Continuity mistake: In the Scene where Eragon is hunting in the woods there is a shot of Eragon with an arrow in his bow ready to shoot, then a shot of the deer standing still and then it comes back to Eragon who now has no arrow in his bow and proceeds to draw one from his quiver. (00:04:05)

Eragon (Edward Speleers) kills Durza (Robert Carlyle). The Varden defeat Galbatorix's troops. Saphira is seriously wounded in battle but is saved at the last minute by Eragon when he uses magic. Arya (Sienna Guillory) on her way back to her home land says good-bye to Eragon but they're both confident that they'll see each other again. The last scene is Galbatorix (John Malkovich) upset that the Varden were victorious and that Eragon is still alive.
