Continuity mistake: When Cameron Diaz is throwing shoes at Edward Burns at the beginning of the movie, the shoes she has thrown are on the landing in one shot and then disappear in the next.

When she throws the second shoe at him it ends up at the top of the stairs where all of a sudden the first shoe is. When he enters the room there are no shoes at all. Factual error: The cab from the airport taking Iris to Amanda's house is going through Malibu and heading southbound. Malibu is north of the airport so the cab is driving the wrong direction.
