High School Musical

Factual error: In the scene where Taylor is trying to prove to Gabriella that Troy is a dumb jock who doesn't care about her, Troy is in the locker room with his friends. Troy's friends are recording Troy on a camera attached to a PC, and the image is seen on Taylor's PC. The message on Taylor's PC says an incorrectly spelled 'Recieving WiFi Signal' instead of 'Receiving'. (01:00:55)

Factual error: The movie takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but the mountains seen in the background throughout the movie are the Wasatch Mountains which are near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Factual error: It is New Year's Eve in the opening scene. It then cuts one week later to school in Albuquerque, and there is fresh green grass, and green leafed trees, etc. But it is only the start of January.

Continuity mistake: After Ryan and Sharpay's initial audition, when Ryan tells the girl not to be discouraged because the theater needs fans, the blue janitor's cart is visible in the doorway. When Troy and Gabriella help Kelsi pick up the sheet music, the janitor's cart has vanished from that doorway, but when Ms. Darbus comes back to tell Troy and Gabriella about the call-backs, the janitor's cart has reappeared. (There are two doorways that have green exit signs overhead, at the back wall opposite the stage. Troy leaves the cart at the right doorway.) (00:33:40 - 00:35:40)

Ms. Darbus: That'll be 15 minutes for you as well, Mr. Danforth. Count 'em!
Taylor: That might be difficult for Chad, since he probably can't count that high.

Question: In 'Breaking Free' Troy doesn't look at Gabriella until a few seconds after what should have been the start of the first line. Does this mean that Gabriella should have started the song, but Troy encouraged her by starting the song?

Answer: I'm not positive, but that is what I've always assumed.
