Ending / spoiler

(0 votes)

As Blake and Nobody travel through the land, they get in firefights with marshals and bounty hunters and Blake acquires more wounds. They finally reach a Native American village by river and Nobody places the mortally wounded Blake in a canoe to send him seaward. Just as Blake floats off from the coast, the last remaining bounty hunter, Cole, arrives and shoots Nobody, who shoots Cole in return. Blake, unharmed, sails off to the horizon to meet his end.

Train Fireman: I'll tell you one thing for sure... I wouldn't trust no words written down on no piece of paper, especially from no Dickinson out in the town of Machine... you're just as likely to find your own grave.
