Puppet Master II

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of Puppet Master II, Torch is about to set Michael on fire when he is hosed down with a fire extinguisher, covering the puppet in white foam. Later, when Torch reappears, he is again still covered, next scene he is clean, then next scene covered again. (01:17:40)

Continuity mistake: When the little boy playing "Indiana Jones" picks up Torch he is a large doll (about the size of say Chucky) but in other scenes Torch is the size of all the other puppets.

Suggested correction: I think the scale might seem off because the child is so small. But he's definitely not the size of Chucky or significantly larger than he usually is. Most of the puppets are between 12-20" tall according to replicas and the boy looks about 7-8, which would probably put him somewhere around the 3.5'-4.5' height range. The scale seems to work out, since Torch is roughly half the kid's height and is one of the taller puppets.

Other mistake: In the scene with Torch and the lady with the shotgun, after she says, "You may think you got the powers of hell on your side, but you don't know who you're dealing with", Torch raises his flamethrower and Blade watches behind the wall. When Torch shoots with his flamethrower, the lady screams about 2 seconds later. When you see her again in the next shot she is totally on fire. If you think about it, you can tell the timing for the flame is not right and she wouldn't be on fire that fast. (00:36:05)

Trivia: The reason Leach Woman was "killed off" in this movie was reportedly because executives at Paramount hated the puppet and demanded she be written out of the movie. However, the puppet was actually pretty popular with audiences, so she was eventually written back into the series.
