When Charlie says "being that I'm more spiritual that religious," the glasses jump back onto Viola's face between shots. Viola reaches for a green cloth napkin to dab at her fake tears. Once Kevin leaves the table, Viola whips around to speak to Charlie and she has a paper napkin.

Continuity mistake: At the very first reception where Charlie helps her friend out catering, Charlie is carrying around a small platter of cheese balls to serve. The number of cheese balls changes in between shots and so does the color of the platter - from black to a lighter silver color.

Continuity mistake: In the start engagement scene (when seated), there is no visible cake on the table. A few moments later the cake appears out of nowhere. (00:26:00 - 00:28:00)

Continuity mistake: When Charlie serves Viola the tripe dinner she is at the stove stirring something in a pot. When Viola passes out face down onto the tripe, Charlie covers the pan she is stirring, says goodnight to passed out Viola, shuts off the kitchen lights and goes to bed. The next morning when Ruby walks into the kitchen and sees Viola passed out in the tripe, the pot on the stove is gone.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Viola is lying on the couch and Ruby is handing her a Martini, Viola lifts her head with her hand to take a drink, in the very next shot her head is lifted but her hand is away from her head.

Answer: If you mean the peach-colored mother-in-law dress, it was specially made for Viola to wear at the wedding. Instead, she showed up wearing a long white gown. It is NEVER socially acceptable for any wedding guest to wear white. That color is only for the bride to wear. It is her special day and no-one is ever supposed to do anything that takes attention away from her. Viola purposely wore white to disrupt the wedding.

I meant the peach photo album at lunch and the peach dress. I know about anyone other than the bride wearing white. Did Viola or Charlie say they didn't like the color peach?
