any survivors who make it outside the cube are subjected to one question "do you believe in god" the only person to be asked says "no" and is burned to death, wynn- a guy who watches over the cube relises he is as much as prisoner as the victims of the cube, he enters the cube to rescue a woman he relises is an innocent victim, the woman and wynn make it to the auxillary exit , which leads directly outside the cube into a forest, wynn is captured, gets a lobotomy and is thrown back into the cube with a new set of victims, this creates speculation about kazan in the first film.we are lead to believe victims of the cube volunteered to "a psychological experiment" as opposed to the death penalty for treason
