The Assassination of Richard Nixon

Sam arrives at the departure gate for his plane, but finds that the security is far heavier than he expected. In a panic, he shoots and kills the security guards, before running onto the plane and shooting the two pilots. Before Sam can work out how to fly the plane himself, a police officer shoots Sam through one of the plane's windows, mortally wounding him. Sam then commits suicide by shooting himself in the head. We then see Sam's former wife, boss and business partner listening to a television news report about the attempted hijacking, and none of them are bothered in the slightest about it.

Factual error: In 1973, directly after the scene where Sam had to chase the dog down the street, he sits in his apartment alone, watching Julie Nixon's wedding on TV. She was married in 1968.
