Plot hole: Given the store's being bought by a retail chain like Kroger's there's no reason Bill's partner can't sell him his share in it, get half the price they're receiving for it then have Bill make quarterly payments to him. They could've also got the new owners to keep Bill on as manager as well as keep their employees or void the sale.

Continuity mistake: When Tim gets stabbed, the killer's silhouette shows that he's holding his knife overhand. When he stabs Tim, he's holding the knife underhand.
Bub: I swear to God. If my brother hadn't hit him in the head repeatedly with a blender, he would've killed me.
Linda: A blender?
Bub: Yeah, uh... a Hamilton Beach Blender.
Trivia: The DVD box cover gives away who the killer is. The killer being Bill Roberts. After all how many of the characters are wearing jean shirts and have mustaches?
