Continuity mistake: When the Grinch tries to stuff the tree up the chimney, an ornament falls off the tree and rolls over to Cindy Lou Who's bed. Then, when the Grinch turns around to see Cindy Lou Who holding the ornament, it has grown tremendously in size.
Revealing mistake: When the Grinch is cutting Max's antler, the cut lines appear on the prongs before he actually starts to cut.
Narrator: "Pooh-pooh to the Whos" he was grinchily humming.
The Grinch: They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming. They're just waking up, I know just what they'll do. Their mouths will hang open a minute or two. Then the Whos down in Whoville will all cry "booo-hooo."
Trivia: The Grinch's face is partly based on Chuck Jones' own face. Jones said he tended to sneak his face in without even realizing it. (Source: NPR).
