Continuity mistake: In the first film, George refers to the tree that the family carved their names in as being in the front yard. In the second film, this same tree is referred to as being in the backyard.
George Banks: Mr Habeeb, this is not a piece of land. This is my home and I'm gonna be a father again and I don't want to bring my baby home to a condo on the beach! I wanna drive down that street and I wanna pull into this driveway and I wanna honk my horn.
Question: OK I'm gonna be dumb and ask, what on earth is Franck's nationality and accent?
Answer: Martin short once claimed in an interview that Franck is just a combination of several different nationalities that he combined for the character. Like Bronson Pinchot in Beverly Hills Cop, part of the humour is not knowing where he came from.
Suggested correction: It is also established he can be scatterbrained when under strain, and he is often under strain, and there's no reason they can't have two trees for that purpose.
