Continuity mistake: While traveling out to the reunion, the navigation voice said "now entering Arizona", while at the same time the navigation screen showed them leaving Arizona and entering New Mexico.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie in the scene where the Johnson family go to the auto shop Destiny says, "Look, there's our door." Her lips don't move.

Continuity mistake: When the family leaves Uncle Earl's shop with the fixed SUV, near the end of the movie, the rear view mirror is missing from the windshield. When they pull into their driveway in the next scene it is there again.

Continuity mistake: Just after the prayer scene at the family reunion, when Mama Johnson is speaking to her boys, she is holding a pronged mixing spoon. In the next shot it has changed to a wooden spoon. (01:11:30)

Continuity mistake: On the way home from the reunion, when the kids are all sleeping in the back of the car, Destiny is in her car seat, but all of a sudden the seat is empty.

Continuity mistake: In the Native American casino when Nate has the chief's headdress on, it changes position on his head. (00:37:15)

Continuity mistake: When the family is leaving Uncle Earl's repair shop, they all put their seatbelts on at the same time. In the next shot, Dorothy leans over and gives Nate a kiss and her seatbelt is not on. The next shot is of the whole family and none of their seatbelts are on.

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the film, when the family pull up in their drive, in the new, fixed truck, the whole crew is reflected in the side of it. (01:27:40)
