Barbershop 2: Back in Business

Calvin's shop is again threatened by the greedy developer, but this time the threat is a mega-franchise barbershop opening right across the street. As Calvin does what he can to counter this threat, life goes on in the barbershop, with more of the same tart dialog and life complications as in the original.

Continuity mistake: When Queen Latifah confronts Cedric the Entertainer over his quarrel with her niece, at the end they make peace and Cedric gives her a burger and a nicely bbq'd sausage of some sort. When she walks to the door to exit the patio, she turns around and eats the sausage except it's not the same one that Cedric gave her, but looks more like an uncooked hot dog wiener. (00:48:25)

Question: Why didn't Calvin give Kenard a chance to cut someone's hair?

Answer: Calvin did give him a chance to cut hair. That is why Kenard had the chair in the first place. It was the people of the neighborhood who didn't want him to cut their hair, as he is new, and they have no clue if he will be good or not (just as he proved with Alderman Brown). This is the same as Isaac in the first movie. Once he proved himself by giving Jimmy a good haircut, people began choosing him.
