Trivia: The film was produced by Joel Silver, who was the producer of Die Hard. One common cast member between the two films is Mary Ellen Trainor. In both Die Hard and this film, she plays the same character, television reporter Gail Wallens. This indicates this film takes place in the same universe as Die Hard.
