Revealing mistake: At the end when Li'l Zé (Zé Pequeno) and his crew want Rocket (Buscapé) to take a picture of them in the street, a long-haired boy with a blue shirt is the first to be killed in the final shooting. A couple of seconds before he is shot in the chest, the shape of the blood pack is visible under his shirt.

Little Dice's gang fights Carrots gang. Nearly all the people die except for Little Dice and Carrot who are both taken away by police. Knockout Ned is killed by the little kid who asked to join Carrot's gang to get revenge on his father's murderer (who turned out to be Knockout Ned). The police stop at the outskirts of the city, give Little Dice a briefcase, and tell him to fill it with money. He proceeds to return to the city and ask the children for help. The children turn on him and kill him. Rocket captures the entire thing on film and says these are the shots that made him famous. We learn it was a true story.
