Audio problem: An alien craft is spotted flying around inside of the Belmont lab above their heads and Maj. Huglin picks up and throws a wrench at it. We see the wrench hit the support girder near the ceiling but the sound is a second late. (00:50:20)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Marvin tries out his new improved magnetic interference unit and an alien craft is spotted flying around inside of the Belmont lab above their heads. Before the craft takes a dip down at them they're standing on the right of Dr. Marvin's magnetic device, but when we see them again they're standing on the left of his device. (00:50:20)
Visible crew/equipment: Dr. Marvin decides to try out his new improved magnetic interference unit on a real alien spaceship that shows up outside the Belmont lab. As the truck with the device on it pulls up you can see the reflection of the crew in its door. (00:51:50)
Continuity mistake: After they've destroyed the alien craft spotted flying around inside of the Belmont lab, Dr. Marvin and the others decide to pack up and leave. Even though the sound has been edited out, the car and truck are already running with their headlights on before anyone gets into them. (00:51:50)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Marvin and the others stop the car and watch the alien spaceship that shows up landing outside the Belmont lab. At first the car is parked on an angle then in the next close-up shot it's on level ground. (00:52:00)
Visible crew/equipment: Watching the alien spaceship that lands outside the Belmont lab they all get out of the car and Carol says, "I'll get them from Russ". If you look closely as she opens her door, the reflection of the crew can be seen in the passenger side vent window. (00:52:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When seen up close the aliens helmets have no openings. When the alien spaceship takes off outside the Belmont lab one of them is left inside. As he walks out the reflection of the window on the front of his helmet and the person in side can be seen in the sunlight. (00:54:20)
Continuity mistake: As Prof. Kanter is incinerated by the alien's beam we can see the shadows cast by the leaves of the trees move before our eyes between shots. (00:55:00)
Continuity mistake: Prof. Kanter is incinerated by the alien's beam and his cane falls down next to him. The next time we see his smoldering body the cane has been moved and is now touching a tree to the right of the screen. (00:55:05)
Audio problem: After Prof. Kanter is incinerated by the alien's beam, Maj. Huglin points his shotgun at the alien and fires. If you look closely he pulls the trigger the first time and the gun misfires and you can see the recoil but not hear anything. (00:55:45)
Visible crew/equipment: After Maj. Huglin shoots and kills the alien the shadow of a crew member can be seen moving on the right of the screen. (00:55:50)
