Continuity mistake: In the scene where the scouts jumped in the river, you see Bragdon and the FBI agent get in the helicopter. The the camera goes to Max in the river going downstream; he looks at his watch and puts it up to his ear because the watch broke, since he was in the water. But later in the scene, where Max is climbing up the hill and looks at the mountain they're about to climb, he looks at his watch and it's still working.

The parents find out that Max Grabelski, the fake camp scout leader that took their kids camping is a criminal accused of murder. The parents come after Max. Max saves Gordi's life (one of the kids), and sends the bad guys who were framing him to jail. Max is then awarded a scout leader.
