Corrected entry: During Minnie Driver's voiceover near the beginning of the film she talks about her Confirmation. However, the film shows her character as a young girl quite obviously having First Holy Communion. Confirmation usually occurs at the age of 13 or 14.

Continuity mistake: Jack's tie changes between the time the 3 girls meet him on the way to the first lecture and when we see him in the lecture itself. In the first scene it is all dark, in the 2nd there is a light stripe below the knot.
Jack Foley: You really know who you are, don't you?
Bernadette 'Benny' Hogan: Well, yes, of course I do.
Correction: You can be confirmed even before your First Holy Communion in the Catholic church, which happens around age seven depending on the diocese. Benny may well have been confirmed before her First Communion.
