Continuity mistake: When Willie goes to the motel that he is staying at, Opal, one of his many conquests, is sitting outside on a bench taking off her wig and shoes. In the next shot when Willie calls to her, she is seen taking off her wig and shoes again.

As Willie is getting a pink stuffed elephant for the kid he turns around and finds out that marcus betrays him. Just when Marcus is about to shoot Willie the police pop out of hiding and begin chasing the two burglars. Willie escapes and makes it back to the house with the elephant and the police chasing him but gets shot by the police 8 times as he attempts to make it to the doorstep of the house. Months later, Willie writes the kid a letter letting him know that he is okay, Marcus is in jail, the police are in trouble for shooting Willie when he was unarmed, and that "Mrs Santa's sister" has got temporary custody over the kid until the kids' dad gets out of prison.
