Robinson Crusoe

Factual error: Crusoe's adventure begins in the early part of the 18th Century, yet the ship he takes flight on carries a gaff-rigged spanker on its mizzen. In reality, the earlier lateen-rig wasn't replaced by the gaff spanker until close to the end of the 18th Century.

Factual error: During the scene in which Crusoe is trimming his beard with scissors, you can recognize that those scissors have plastic handles and a screw cover. Wrong material for that period. (01:04:22)

Continuity mistake: During the duel, the sword slash on Patrick's left cheek changes length and goes from bleeding to scar tissue and back to bleeding again.
