Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star

Dickie Roberts used to be the lead star of the television show "The Glimmer Gang" when he was 6 years old. The show got cancelled, and now he's a valet. After hearing about Rob Reiner's new film, he auditions for the part, but Rob won't give it to him, since he hasn't had a proper childhood.

So, Dickie puts an advert in the paper, and The Finney's offer to let him stay for a while and go through Operation "Re-Do Childhood".
