Factual error: In the first story, Father's Day, it is dark at 7:00. In the middle of June, the sun stays up until at least 8. Or even 9 up north.

Trivia: "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" and "The Crate" were both based on stories Stephen King had previously written and published. (The original title of the Jordy Verrill segment was "Weeds.") The other segments, "Father's Day," "Something to Tide You Over," and "They're Creeping Up on You" were originals written specifically for the film by King.
