Visible crew/equipment: When Mr. Coolidge shuts off his TV after Jamaica's first bobsled run, a stage light is reflected in the TV screen.
Cool Runnings (1993)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake
Directed by: Jon Turteltaub
Starring: John Candy, Doug E. Doug, Leon, Malik Yoba, Rawle D. Lewis
Continuity mistake: When the bobsled team is getting their act together in Calgary, there's a scene of them pushing off with an unpainted bobsled. In the shots of the feet of the guys pushing at the back of the sled, you can see that the lower back of the sled is painted black with green stripes, the colours that they paint the sled in a scene a few minutes later.
Josef Grul: Hey, Jamaica! Watch out for Number Twelve turn. Scary, ja?
Derice Bannock: What's his problem?
Irv: He's Josef Grul. He's one of the best drivers in the world.
Yul Brenner: Yeah, he's one of the biggest assholes in the world, too.
Trivia: When Derice is applying for loans at different banks, the wall behind each bank manager is always the same wall! The plants and decorations are different, but it's the identical wall.
Question: Is it true that the Jamaica bobsled team performed poorly at first during training as shown in in the film?
