Continuity mistake: Van Johnson has jam and ink rubbed on his uniform by the children, but those stains are completely gone in the next scene when he accompanies Henry Fonda and the daughter to the dispensary.
Continuity mistake: When Frank's brother and sister-in-law leave the house with Germaine and Joan, they are shown (in a mirror) walking out the front door, which has a picture on the wall to the right of the door (left side of the mirror). The wall is flush with the door; however, in a later scene (one of the housekeepers walking out the door), the wall (with the same picture) is perpendicular to the door.
