Continuity mistake: At the end of the film, Jim Belushi dresses as his mother to trick the warden and enter the prison. After he enters, he changes clothes and reemerges as himself. The bright red nail polish he had on is now completely removed from all his fingernails, yet at the same time he forgets to wipe his lipstick.
Continuity mistake: When Charles Grodin is on the payphone at the airport his Filofax is open. After he leaves and Jim Belushi finds it, it's suddenly closed.
Continuity mistake: Escaping the stadium, the metal gate opens up. In the next sequence, Jimmy is calmly holding onto a closed gate. (01:31:45)
Continuity mistake: When Jimmy and Jewel are on the couch with drinks, Jimmy drinks all his in one go. When Jewel starts to get a little flirty, Jimmy takes another sip and there's more drink in his glass, and it looks like he finishes it off again. But in the next shot, it's completely full.
