Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cannonball is driving the Mustang and Redman is driving the Charger through the incomplete Interstate, they begin bashing each others' cars to bits. Several shots show the badly damaged cars and the results of the multiple hits taken. However, when we are shown the cars just before the bridge jump sequence, neither car appears damaged.

Cannonball 'Coy' Buckman is a car racer but is redundant after coming out of prison. If he wins the Illegal cross country 'Cannonball' race then a car company will give him a job. But he is up against Cade redman (Bill McKinny) who is also after this job. Also in the race is some sexy women who end up having a gangbang in the back of their hired minivan with police officers. They throw the police officers out and they are chased.The police are out looking for them and they then discover the cannonballers.
