Continuity mistake: After the shock waves, Snyder says he has a 'fire over here.' You see Scarpelli putting out the fire with a fire extinguisher. The hose is attached to the extinguisher, but a short time later she is holding the hose in her hand, then in the background a short time later you can see her, and the hose is again attached to the extinguisher.

Deepstar Six is an early underwater disaster horror movie that has a joint research team and military venture terrorized by a bizarre, aggressive creature that immediately craves human flesh! Making matters worse are a plethora of awful character decisions, poor dialog, bad acting and lackluster special effects even for 1989. Notable for Nia Peebles cast as a young scientist among the ill-fated team. For B-Movie fans mostly.
